Tough times don't last, tough people do!

It has been 6 years since Ethan was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was 7 years old then. Now he is 13 years old, cancer free and thriving. As a family we often look back on these past years with mixed emotions. But mostly with gratefulness. Without the support of the child life specialists and the educational liaison, Ethan's transitions at school would not have gone as smoothly. Without the support from the social workers, there would have been more fear and anxiety. Without our team, everything would have been worse. The Valerie Fund and it's people provide "the little things" that make the biggest impact. We walk to celebrate Ethan's life and for those still struggling.
