10 Years Post Diagnosis!

In 2011, Gabby was first diagnosed with High-Risk, Pre-B, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and her chemo treatments ended in 2016. In September of 2020, we looked to The Valerie Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital again. Gabby was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and had a massive, malignant tumor removed and is being monitored closely by her team. Most recently also getting diagnosed with Grave's Disease and while this is an Endocrinology issues, The Valerie Center is supporting us yet again! Recently changing her name to Willow, we are REBRANDING our Team for 2023 to "Willow's Wish." Willow became a Valerie Fund Scholar in 2020 and has been receiving a TVF SCHOLARSHIP ever since and we are so thankful. We say this every year, getting through this experience with our faith intact, our humor, and normality has been the result of the support of The Valerie Fund and the AMAZING Valerie Center Staff at Goryeb Children's Hospital. Willow is hanging in there and that is because of The Valerie Fund's support. Willow is PROUD to play the part of Captain Hope, TVF's mascot and has written a children's activity book for TVF patients around this character which may be found on The Valerie Fund Website:
