Lexi’s Bad Blood Bandits
Nobody Fights Alone My cancer journey started when I was 5. 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The Valerie Center doctors, nurses, and staff were wonderful and they became apart of my family. They made it feel like home and a safe place for me, and I didn’t even realize what I was going through at the time. I’ve now been cured for 5 years, and I can remember the day I rang the bell like it was yesterday. I also know what it’s like to spend easter, christmas, and my birthday in the hospital. I don’t remember much about my journey, but I know that it can be so very mentally and physically challenging, but just know that you are so strong and to never ever give up. I’m walking to support the Valerie Fund and their patients on June 7th, at Verona Park. To keep her memory alive and support others going through similar battles, I am also walking to support my Nana who died from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Thank you for your support🤍
