Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

My name is Quinn Previdi and I am a 17-year-old junior at Montclair High School. A year ago, I thought I was a pretty “normal” kid, until my life changed last June when I was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. Since my diagnosis, I’ve spent quite a lot of time at the Valerie Center with weekly and now every-3-week chemo and prednisone treatments. If all continues to go well, I should be done with treatment on July 21st! My medical and Valerie Center team have been an incredible support system for me this past year. “Q’s Blue Crew” is to recognize the entire team of people in my life that have been there to support me: beyond the Valerie Center, I am so grateful to be able to be part of my more traditional teams from MHS Football, Lacrosse and my Mad Dog teammates. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t have sports this year. I'm proud to support the Valerie Fund for the first time and look forward to sharing my story as a speaker on the day of the walk. We'd love it if you want to join us for the walk, and if you do, we hope you'll wear something blue!
