Fighting for hope, we got this!

Sophie is a bright, all around funny, beautiful, brave, and incredibly strong 13-year-old girl from Berkeley Heights, NJ. She was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma metastatic cancer when she was only 8 years old. Sophie's journey with her treatments has been a long and difficult road. Most of her treatments were done in 2020/2021 during Covid which created an added complexity to her already very sensitive situation. In 2022 Sophie completed an immunotherapy vaccine study at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC which ended her active treatment. This month Sophie moves from oncology to survivorship and had the exciting news that her tumor is no longer detectable. Sophie and family will continue the fight against childhood cancer and will take part in The Valerie Fund walk/run. The Valerie Fund was a lifeline for Sophie's family in so many ways during her treatment. Please consider joining our Sweet Sophie's Soldiers team for The Valerie Fund Walk on June 7th, 2025.
