In 2020 when covid first shook up our normal day to day lives, everybody began looking for their own coping mechanism to deal with the "new normal". Alex, a Los Angeles native and Eric, a Connecticut native began challenging each other in running goals via Strava, competing to see who could log the most miles on different coasts. Now, as the world begins to heal and they are both back in NYC, their friendly competition still persists but with a more profound goal, one with more meaning rather than just miles - helping out a worthy cause. Alex and Eric were members of the same Nonprofit together at the College of Charleston and since graduation continued to find new ways to give back. Alex stays involved with the Concern Foundation based out of LA, focused on Cancer Research and Eric volunteers with CAREoke for the Kids, a Valerie Fund event which supports children with blood disorders and cancer.
