DECORATING TRENDS
North Plainfield,, New Jersey, August 8, 2011: What’s next in interior design for colors, styles, fabrics, furniture, accessories? Where do home fashion trends come from? What are the major influences this year? These questions and more will be answered when Sally Morse, international interior designer, TV personality and author presents a “Home Fashions Trend Forecast “on Thursday evening , October 6th at 6:30 p.m. at Metropolitan Window Fashions at Fabricland located at 855 Route 22, North Plainfield. The $10 ticket price, which includes a wine reception and decorating seminar, will benefit The Valerie Fund – whose mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders.
Using her toolbox of information gathered from the major European design shows –including Maison Objet, Heimtextil, Decosit, and La Biennel – Ms. Morse will show this year’s hottest home furnishings trends and how they can be adapted for the American market and homeowner. Whether you’re remodeling or moving to a new home, Sally’s tips will be a helpful guide in planning your own decorating ‘journey’.
A frequent guest on HGTV, Ms. Morse’s work has been featured in Women’s Day, Better Homes and Gardens and Windows & Walls, and she recently co-authored a book on window coverings. She has written many articles on interior design, colors and trends as well as sales and marketing pieces for many major design publications. Her “Ask Sally” column on the Hunter Douglas website is one of the most popular decorating advice columns on the internet today.
