Since 1999, the Hemophilia Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has provided care to children at The Valerie Fund with hemophilia and other related coagulation blood disorders. This Center is the largest of its type in New Jersey and now treats over 400 children. The majority of the healthcare team made up of nurses, social workers and ancillary staff remains a constant in the child's life as they age providing reassurance to both child and family. Our physician specialists work together to best transition children from pediatric to adult care within the specialty units.
